i did!! i created two hockey ocs this year that i babbled about earlier but

their names are will (left) and ben (right) and theyre a goalie tandem for the devils!! theyre also gay and in love. will is an all american new jersey-born goalie who fought to save his dying team for years and ben is the new blood brought in to kick off another rebuild after the last one was unsuccessful. will is forced to house ben by their captain (in this au the devs do not look anything like they look irl loll) and it all starts there.

im absolutely obsessed with them and their story..... big rookie and small vet..... mentor mentee..... hero worship.... live together.... oh i made myself a pairing to love and i do

ben and will's story is so funny from their captain's perspective. pov your best friend and team goalie is sad all the fucking time because he feels like he's failing you and your childhood team, and you guys are so bad that you draft this young goalie phenom who you (very quickly) find out looks up to your best friend. you (very quickly) make the decision to offer for the kid to stay in your friend's house (without consulting said friend), thinking that falling into the mentorship role for a kid who believes in him will be good for your friend. you then have to suffer through years of unresolved homoerotic tension due to this decision.
