Huevember Day 17: Sir Beolagh
Advisor to the king, Beolagh is the man behind the scenes keeping the kingdom running. A stern and unforgiving man, few dare cross him and live. Some say his devotion to the royal family verges on worship.

He didn’t believe in Heaven, not like many others did - raised in a completely different country with a completely different culture - but Hisato could believe in Hell. Because Hell was not being allowed to touch the boy, not being able to look upon him with the kind of adoration that was in his heart. Not being able to extend a supportive hand in favour of lifting the heartbreaking loneliness his mixed heritage caused him. Beolagh was shunned, not fitting in with the vampires nor the celestials, Hisato being the only one that offered the boy a kind smile. Sometimes the vampire lord thought he could see that adoration reflected back at him in the angel child’s hauntingly beautiful eyes, but he didn’t want to assume or pursue something that was wrong.
