SnK is average writing that I can see many flaws into but I can also see why people would enjoy it.

SAO is fetid writing mixed with too much forever-alone lonely neckbeard wish fulfillment.

I'm not going to tell people how to enjoy their fiction, because only a fucking imbecile does that, but I highly disapprove of things that dabble too much into self-projection and wish fulfillment. It's such a cheap way to sell entertainment. Yeah, it works, but it just cultivates a viewer base of group-thinking dangerous sick people with low expectations and grasps in reality and it just taints the business all the more, in my opinion.
