The idea of a fusion with Warly and Wendy is really interesting to me because theyâre both so different. The sort of combined theme I get from them is that of an embalmer or funeral director, who prepares the deceased for burial and helps to conduct the services for them. This would be a blend of Wendyâs obvious morbid and rather deadpan disposition and that of Warlyâs position as a member of the service industry, as well as his more refined ways.
Itâs really neat to imagine to me because I like to think they would be very passive, and nearly expressionless. Very composed as well, and dressed incredibly sharply. They would have a smooth and monotonous voice with which they would soothe the grieving and deliver somber eulogies. they would be a source of comfort for family and friends who are suffering loss, but wouldnât sugarcoat a single thing. They know that reality can be harsh and that it can be overwhelming, but they also know that coddling wonât fix any of it.
The fusion, i think, would be a sort of personification of Warlyâs condolences for Wendy and her loss. heâs never experienced the death of anyone so close to him as she has, and experiencing it for himself when they fuse invokes a large magnitude of both pity and empathy from him. On the other hand, Wendy likely wouldnât be used to how positive Warly can be; he is also an adult while she is still a child, so the difference in their age and experience causes for a very still and serene demeanor for their fusion.
