i know everything's relative, but i'm so mystified when fellow comrades with chronic illness say things like, it can’t get worse. it can always get worse. i have a new population of little red bugs, and you know what? i'm thankful. they're still outside the door. any day, climate change-triggered ecosystem shifts could make it so a bug COMES for oranges, the way fruit flies do for bananas. VAMPIRIC!! and how quickly we forget the emu war of 1932.
