violence was predictable for her at this point and there was nothing more amusing than catching someone unawares. with an audible and dramatic groan she rose from her seat, palms slapping upon her thighs, and marched directly towards vision with intent in her eyes - if he was worried, he didn't show it, not even when she gripped his shoulders and pulled him down for a kiss. it was lingering, forceful, stopping his lips mid-word so that the taste of them stained her own lips before she pulled away. ' please ... shut the fuck up. '
Fear. It seemed to be a common sentiment of those around her. Her unpredictability, her penchant for violence, not to mention her warm personality. Those were not things most would find comforting. And yet, he did not fear her, himself. For why would he? Had he not been torn apart only to be rebuilt over and over again? Stared down beings more terrifying and unknowable than her? Neither death nor the possibility of violence had any sway over him like it did over those around him.
So when she walks towards him, interrupting his frankly insightful conversation about the mysteries of their ever-expanding galaxy, with an intent behind her eyes that he could not quite place, he only offers a look of confusion. The frown upon his brow only intensified as he was pulled down and-- interesting. He did not offer any resistance, even going as far to return the kiss, although nowhere near as-- heated as she was being, head tilting ever so as he looked down upon the woman in the aftermath.
“ Duly noted--” He responds, his tone holding its neutral tone as if nothing had just happened, lips pressing together as his tongue darted out to take in the taste, “--Though I am afraid we just got to the good part with astral bodies and their varying centers of gravity. Let’s take Venus, for example--”
