Her introduction to Shifting Constellations:
Besene followed her sister out, the fabric of her long skirt in her hand as she let the servant use the other to help her out. Her hair was closer to Idell’s in texture, and style, shaved around the bottom below her ears with the long top pulled into two braids that ended with elaborate clips before the rest of her soft curls hung down so the ends brushed the neckline of her dress.
It was an improvement from the style that had made them stick out to the side like cow ears, which when combined with eyes that were slightly too small and too far apart had given her an unfortunate resemblance to a cow.
“Mooove,” she ordered someone inside the carriage.
She is politely rebellious and knows how to say “fuck you” in politic-speak
Her name was a corruption of benzene and her two sisters’ names were from Ethylene and Toluene. They were named while I was procrastinating organic chem homework.
Her name is shortened to Be (bay)
Besene, Bos, and Ure are all based around cows and I call their little family “the herd”
She doesn’t really enjoy studying
