when you get clothes made, think about all the things you'd like to do in them. As a trumpet player, percussionist and sometimes conductor, my arms are up and forward a lot. With that in mind, I get my jackets made with room at the upper back/shoulders to maximize movement. comfort is the #1 goal for me. I choose fabrics based on that.
