What does that part even mean?!” Sydney bit back on her lip, because it’s not like she and Phil were trying to keep their relationship a secret, by any means, because it was kind of obvious the two of them were already crazy about one another. Still, she just worried because he was also helping her train, and she never wanted it to seem like she was getting special treatment because obviously, he did have a little bit of pull in the company, despite everything that might have happened in the past.

Truth be told, at this point it didn’t even bother Ashley when Phil tossed and turned, or got antsy while he was in bed, because she’d gotten used to it by now, and she’d much rather be curled up in his arms while he was being an insomniac, than not have him in bed with her at all. She’d actually been sound asleep this particular night, so she hadn’t even noticed he had trouble sleeping, until she stirred awake, and noticed those arms were no longer wrapped around her. Much like she figured, he was downstairs in the living room, and she quickly climbed into his lap, once she joined him on the sofa. “How many times have I told you I don’t care if you wake me up? I’d much rather be in these arms, than you be down here away from me, so come back to bed, please?”

@bestsincedayone: of course, they had everything they ever wanted and more... and it had to be taken from them. granted, it's not like phil was the one who choked someone out and had threatened his boss... but that could've all be avoided had certain people not poked the bear more times than one could count. but that was all in the past now. nothing they can do about it. legally, he couldn't even speak on the incidents anymore. so he took a deep breath and sighed. "You're being strong - just like you've always been," he would make the comment as he brushed his fingers through her raven-haired locks. he wasn't sure what they were trying to accomplish. if they were trying to embarrass her on television or what. he didn't trust them. not one bit. "You're better than them."

it had been one of the biggest moments of her life, walking into ring with queen playing, her family behind her. but she had to swallow every feeling she had when she was doing it. they barely had time to formulate a game plan that night. saraya being told to hang with old friends who were loyal to punk. it should have been the happiest moment. but instead it was the beginning of the nightmare. but saraya was no stranger to nightmares. they wanted to take him away from her? fine, she could handle it. they wanted to take away the championship? she didn't care either. but it was a bitter pill she had to swallow. this was poking the bear, she was sure of it. be it him or her. but saraya smiled and nodded when she was told that she was dropping the title, "oh i know i am, i was raised in this chaos, they just want to see me quit because firing me could be a conflict. but the smirk on matt jackson's face when they told me they were going with shida, so toni and i won't wrestle, it was there and very obvious."
