I meant to make this a weekly thing when I posted Part One, but then my computer charging cord got left in the Bay Area and my plans got screwed.

So here’s another segment, with a few extra since it’s been a while!

Kati can do so much with her power, she can literally stop time and go through Agau's papers, read every document that is not allowed to, discover so many things, I'm excited and looking forward to how she uses it. Also, I want to see if the fact that she doesn't stop time for herself affects her body, technically she is living more than everyone else. If she accumulates hours, they will become years eventually.

And you’ve made me a good person.

I love him so much. Don't you worry Christian, you were always a good person, you threw away the receiver before you even met Beth so you had no plans to ever be a weapon you gentle beautiful soul.

She never would have guessed that she could control the water inside someone’s body. It makes logical sense, blood is eighty percent water, but she has never had reason to threaten somebody before. How things have changed. Right now, the lives of five men are hanging in the balance, their blood temporary stilled in their veins. 

I love these flashes of her thinking in a way that's just a little too much like Agau for comfort. the foreshadowing is REAL XD

I'm trying to reserve my comments for my separate document so I don't muddle others' opinions, but BLESS THIS PHRASE.

But there’s no logical reason for all the problems that she is running into, all of the problems that her creations are producing. They were supposed to be perfect, she seethes as she paces in her office. She had engineered them to be perfect: 20/20 eyesight, no allergies—a clean slate for her to write on.

your Agau chapters and Agau narration are SO well written dude. she has SUCH a unique voice

BRO, to think that I was complaining a while ago about the DST updates, yeah, the post-Celestial Champion and Post-Fuelweaver content gave us really powerful items, but then I wondered: WHEN am I going to use these items? Since Celestial Champion and Fuelweaver are like, the hardest bosses in the game, but these items you only access after defeating them, it would be nice if they added some bosses after the content of them.

And it's exactly what they did, Klei always big brain moment!

Beta Comments, Week 1

Listen I meant to post this yesterday, after a full week had passed, but sometimes you have to go to a pottery place and paint a geometric owl for four hours.

But anyway, I want to highlight some of my favorite comments this week! I can’t include all of them, obviously, because that would be a freakishly long post, but I also wanted to share some of the joy this process is bringing me. Because I need a constant reminder that this is a good thing.

A fuller smile lights Agau’s face, though it doesn’t quite reach her eyes. “Why, Beth. I am with you.”

I love how this line feels like it can have such different meanings for the two like Agau being like yeah I've made it a position of power thanks to you and Beth being like I have 1 friend and she wants to be here. It's a great line!

She doesn’t know how she knows about the currents, or how she knows when the waves will crash onto the shore, or how she had known there was a beach up ahead, but she’s been right every time. Another weird thing is that she doesn’t feel cold, and being soaked by ocean water doesn’t bother her.

Cool way of telling how her power is connected to her whole self, from her instinct to her body

Oh, god, she doesn’t know what to say.

and in this moment we are all Beth

—what if I put him in danger because he associated with me?—but she really is in desperate need of resources.

I loved how you can clearly see that Beth is analytical but cares for other people, whereas Agau is just as analytical but only cares about her goal

the way you put these impact lines at the beginning and end of most chapters/chapter pieces is so good  tbh. Like when I was reading this the first time and I saw one of these I HAD to read more, not optional sorry I dont make the rules :/

There are too many questions and not enough answers, but her smile is cute enough to take the edge off of his confusion.

So Hans was someone else's project? Or had a different manager? Is there going to be a scene somewhere where the two of them talk about their shared but different experiences in the lab?
