༄.° Manifested a trip to Vegas by doing nothing. 𓆞
I have been waiting to post this since July.
And then, after the trip, I waited about two more weeks to finish writing this. ok sorry guys..I need to change self into a better blog owner LOL
I have a cousin out west with whom I share many similarities, and I really wanted to see him and that part of the country. However, I've been busy enough in my personal life to not try to arrange one, and have been pushing it on the back burner.
Flash forward to early July—probably the first week I don't remember, my Father comes up to me (yes, the same one from this post) and tells me he's planning to go on a trip out to see him this October.
I hope not to come off as entitled or spoiled, but I really thought he was going to invite me alongside him! We're just close, is all.
... He then asks me if I'll be upset if he goes by himself. I said no, but between you guys and me, it kinda hurt. Okay, don't tell anybody.
I hadn't taken any action yet, but color me surprised when I heard my Dad talking about other family members he had invited! That hurt, but I don't think he meant to. I realized, wait, I have the divine power of God at my fingertips, so I decided to not be upset and do something.
I looked up a hiking trail near my cousin on Google Maps, and using the feature that allows you to move around, I got a general idea of what I would be seeing in Imagination. Then, imagined myself walking on that trail, and feeling the sun on my back while being happy I had accomplished getting to see my cousin.
After I felt fulfilled, I didn't feel any need to repeat the scene. I would remind myself it's done internally, or visit the trail for a second. The world reflects anything I do in Imagination. Any time it came up, I just reminded myself I'd already gone or visit that trail for a second internally.
On July 16th, I got a text from my cousin with a ticket to a tech conference. He wrote he was going to Vegas for it and would love to have me come (if any of you have seen my intro post, I'm a cs major), and he had a hotel room already booked. Of course, I said yes right away!
Question for thought: If I imagined myself in a different state visiting my cousin, but he sends me a ticket to Vegas, is that really a successful manifestation? I believe so, since I believe Imagination to be the cause of life, AND he had invited me back home to spend some time there as well, but I have things here I have to attend to. At the end of the day, what I desired was going out west and hanging out with my cousin—and that's exactly what I got!
Don't scroll off this post just yet! More circumstances reared their head! Remember those family members from before? Yeah, they heard about my trip and started booking hotel rooms! Didn't even ask, just did it!
... Not to overshare on my blog, but I don't really enjoy spending long periods of time with these family members. If there's no one or nothing to change but self, the only thing I had to do was change myself. Internally, I became the person I would already be if they were not going on the trip.
When Neville was booted from first class to third class, what did Abdullah say to him?
“Who is talking of going to Barbados? You have gone to Barbados, and you went first class.”
You are allowed to imagine nice things you desire for yourself. I would say it's your responsibility to imagine the wonderful things in life for yourself.
… So even though they had already booked hotels and plane tickets, suddenly work, family, and other circumstances popped up, and one by one, it was my own personal trip again. This is what people in this community mean when they say 3D circumstances never matter.
Imagination is the only reality; stop doubting and start persisting.
I think that's all I have to say. We also got to see RuPaul out in Vegas. I didn't even bring it up; my cousin just got tickets for us after I confirmed I could go. Here's a photo of that. I'm terrible at taking photos. Why do you think I use other people's pictures of fish for this blog?
Now let us go in silence—Las Vegas.
