#RWBYAC Day 14: Team STRQ Member Summer Rose is a very interesting character to me. She was a caring mother and a badass fighter that inherited a legendary ability from ancient gods, yet she wasted no time moving on Tai when Raven bailed. 😂😂😂 While I overall disliked Volume 6, I loved that we finally got to see Summer outside of an old photo where her face was barely visible. I hope we'll get to see more flashbacks of Team STRQ, maybe even a spinoff series or miniseries. Okay, the new episode has been out on YouTube for almost 36 hours, so if you haven't seen it, that's on you. Anyway, I just think Hazel needs to adopt Emerald as his new little sister. Then they can bail on Salem and play evil catch, have evil tea parties, and do normal sibling stuff but in a criminal fashion. This is quite a departure from my usual fare, as I typically only peddle in cursed images. I'm calling this one "Mei-mei" as sort of a Firefly reference. I swear, if they use this moment to make White Knight canon, I'm quitting the FNDM. (I'm only half kidding, but I've honestly hated that pairing from the start. So, 111 days until Volume 7! As you may know, I'm the Weiss admin over on the Zwei - RWBY Facebook page. Every year, we have a countdown to the new volume featuring my mediocre art, and now that we have a release date (November 2nd), we're starting. Zwei is first, since the page is dedicated to Zwei. The rest will be digital versions of the sketches I did for this year's and last year's art challenge. I know most of you are looking forward to Volume 7, but I'm pretty apprehensive. While Volume 6 had its high points (mainly lore and beeeeeeeees), I overall didn't care for it (first time that's happened for me), and I'm really hating the new outfits, particularly Weiss'. Given how poorly written and reliant on sheer cringe the Argus scenes were, I'm legitimately concerned they'll stick to the same tropes in Atlas itself. RWBY is my favorite show, and I really don't want to end up hating it. I also hope Volume 7 doesn't end up becoming some hamfisted political commentary, either.
