Beyoncé x Balmain (NEW)
Of course you remember Beyoncé’s iconic Coachella performance. You were either eating ice cream watching the livestream on YouTube or witnessing it live just getting your whole life! Her performance makes THE FIRST BLACK WOMAN to headline the music festival right. She perfomed bops and mixes from Genesis’ “Everybody Mad” that proclaims that she been gettin’ to the money, and everybody’s mad! And also jams from her most recent album LEMONADE which peaked at #1 on Billboard Top 200 and spent 74 weeks on the chart. It’s still kind of cringing to hear that there are still “first” feats for black people to conquer, but this we will accept!
Olivier Rousteng, interviewed by Vogue states “I worked really long with her on the Beychella moments, and the fact that we can release this collaboration that is based on our creativity, Beyoncé and I, is really a big, big step for fashion and music together...”
Oh, I still haven’t gotten to the good part.
