[91] Beyond Stolen Notes - Stèv  (Loci records / Megaphone Records - 2015) Beyond Stolen Notes is the first full length album for my mate Stefano Fagnani aka Stèv. The album is composed of 11 tracks and like always it’s like to read a story made of different chapters but connected between each other with smooth and dreamy sounds.

We found in this album great featuring with two great Italian producers: Godblesscomputers and Earthquake Island.

Hills are floating it is a full immersion in Stèv daily influences, his love for his hometown, the landscapes and the nature around him and the oriental culture. As you can see, few tracks on this album have Japanese title. The track is a complex composition of different instruments and noises that Stèv, really smartly, assembled together to create the perfect picture of what he could possibly have looked through his windows. Lain is dreaming featuring Earthquake Island, is a bit more darker than Stèv standard, but the two guys made a great job mixing there own style and the result is great. Easy to listen to and get inside and loose yourself.

I think the best way to enjoy this album is to listen to it and nothing else, is difficult to leave black on white the feelings and emotions that Stèv want to give us with his warm sounds.
