another thing my boyfriend does that is very base level yet blows other girls' minds: is actively engaged when i go shopping! "eric do u like this one or this one?" "hmm, i like the color on that one more, but the other one seems like something you would wear more often." for his next trick, he will do this and not, like, expect a reward for his behavior!

dating a 6′2″ guy is good for the sheer reason of going out and feeling a tangible, physical decrease in stares and a complete drop off in men approaching me

frankly the bad thing about dating eric since he plays video games at the same volume that i do we both sometimes simultaneously want to play a video game on the same system. it was a little bit of a struggle when we got a switch when he wanted to play a bunch of smash and i wanted to play a bunch of pokemon lgpe. the good news is our sleep schedules are definitely opposite

one part of my relationship that i absolutely love is that me and eric are both kinda. private and low maintenance. “we’re getting a pre nup and keeping separate bank accounts when we get married right?” “oh hell yeah.”

eric supports me in all my interests but it is difficult because he is my first ever significant other that has no substantial interest in pokemon. like he will play pokemon go and he has to ask me the names of pokemon past gen 2. whereas in all my past relationships we would be ranting to one another about the proper implementation of ivs. but i guess love will prevail, even in the face of this terrible hardship
