I’ve been listening to creepy pasta stories from my favorite YouTuber all day so I hope it’s okay requesting something random like this but could I get something where there is a home invasion or burglar scenario with y/n for BFH and the guys run to help her? You can do all the guys or just specific ones, whatever you feel like if you decide to write a Drabble for the idea! Thank you! 🙏

I know you probably expected it to be different from how I decided to write it, but I couldn't come up with anything else that I was satisfied with except for this. I hope you still enjoy it.
Sometimes the worst part about not being able to sleep at night is not necessarily the sleeping part, but what to do when you can’t. I spent a good hour on my phone before deciding that if I hadn’t fallen back asleep in that time, it probably wasn’t going to happen, so instead of running the risk of waking up Hoseok, I got up. I closed the bedroom door behind me, checking the nearby rooms to see they were all still shut too. It wouldn’t be the first time I was the only one awake, but I knew if any of them heard me it wouldn’t stay that way.
Tiptoeing my way down the hall, I kept the lights off as an extra measure to keep the rest of the household asleep as I made my way to the kitchen. It was early, too early really for me to consider starting my day, but there was no way I’m getting back to sleep now. Checking the time, I figured it wouldn’t be a terrible idea to start a pot of coffee. I’d definitely need one and Yoongi would probably appreciate a cup before he would head to the office. I flipped on the backsplash lights behind the counters, they were low, but bright enough for me to see what I was doing as I started on the coffee. While it brewed, I rummaged through the fridge, hoping I’d be lucky enough to find some leftovers courtesy of Jin. No such luck. Sighing, I closed the fridge, debating whether I was hungry enough to cook something for myself and ultimately deciding coffee would tide me over at least until everyone else was awake.
I yawned, grabbing a mug from the cabinet and filling it before flicking the lights off. The streetlights coming through the windows lit my way as I made my way towards the other end of the house, headed for the workroom the boys set up for me shortly after moving in. Bringing the cup to my mouth, the hot beverage barely touched my lips when a low creaking made me pause. At first, I thought it was one of the boys having woken up, but straining my ears for footsteps coming down the hall was a waste when I didn’t hear anything. Frowning, I backtracked, intent on peeking down the hallway for a peek, but halted in my tracks when passing the entryway. The front door was slightly ajar, slivers of light pooling through the gap from where the porch light was on.
My heart pounded against my rib cage; my mind unable to keep from thinking back on that night my shop burned down. I scanned the immediate vicinity, the entryway dark, motion sensor not activated telling me that there wasn’t anyone over there. At least not anyone moving. Swallowing my fear, I moved closer, the darkness spiking my anxiety until I finally got close enough for the entry light to click on. Looking around, a let out a relieved breath not seeing anyone. I quickly shut the door, too chicken to look outside, flipping the lock as the light above me flicked off again. I tried to calm myself down, but my nerves were running too high for me to even entertain the idea of going to the office. I should check the rest of the house to be safe.
I turned, planning on waking Namjoon to check with me just in case, the light overhead clicking on again at the same time I noticed the figure behind me. I screamed, the sound piercing the silent house, ironically scaring the person in front of me. My hand moved, throwing my hot coffee on them before realizing I recognized the person. Jin yelled, partially in surprise and rising in pitch when my coffee splattered all over the front of him.
“Hot!” He yelped, grabbing the front of his shirt and pulling it away from his skin.
“Oh my God.” I dropped the mug in my hand, reaching out for him. “Jin, Jesus you scared me. Are you okay?”
“Y/N!?”
The panicked call of my name interrupted us, footsteps pounding against the floor seconds before the set found us. Namjoon nearly ran past us in the entryway, his sock-clad feet sliding across the wood in his haste to stop, taking his feet out from under him, body hitting the floor hard. The next person to arrive almost tripped over him, Yoongi stumbled before righting himself, frying pan raised threateningly, wild hair a mess on top of his head as he looked between Jin and I. Cautiously, another head popped around the corner, Hoseok’s terrified eyes watching Yoongi before noticing us. Namjoon groaned, a hair’s breadth from claiming his second victim as Jungkook arrived. With a bat. And a wild-eyed Jimin behind him armed with one of Namjoon’s hardcover books. The sight would have made me laugh if my heart wasn’t still about to beat out of my chest.
“What’s going on? Are you two okay?” Yoongi asked, slowly lowering his pan.
Namjoon picked himself up off the floor, wincing before the last of my husbands came barreling into his back.
“I’m ready!” Tae screamed, both arms extended with a can of hairspray in each hand.
“That’s what you went to grab?” Jimin sounded exasperated, dropping his book.
“I needed something. And muscle head stole the bat which doesn’t even make sense because out of the three of us, he’s the last one who would need a weapon.”
Jimin grumbled, snatching his hairspray back while Taehyung surveyed the situation.
“What happened? Why did you scream?”
“Jin scared me. I was on my way to the office and noticed that the front door was open.”
I looked at the perpetrator, his expression turning apologetic as he waved his soaked shirt over himself.
“I’m sorry, I must not have closed it all the way when I came back in.”
“Why were you outside?”
“I got called in on an emergency. I just got back.”
Finally, I huffed out a laugh at the hilarity of the circumstances. Everyone dropping their guard for good and Hoseok emerging from his hiding space around the corner as we finally relaxed.
“I’m so sorry.” I told Jin, taking a step towards him. “I didn’t burn you too bad, did I?”
He shrugged. “It’s my fault even if it did. I didn’t expect anyone to be awake yet, otherwise I would have announced my arrival. I’m sorry.”
Yoongi ran a hand through his messy hair. “Well now that everyone’s awake, how about breakfast?”
Mostly everyone dispersed, Jin going to shower and change while the three youngest attempted to bribe Yoongi with their breakfast requests.
“You okay Joonie?”
“Yeah, I’m good.” He grunted, rubbing his elbow.
“Hobi?” I asked the only other man lingering near the front entrance.
Hoseok blinked a couple of times, nodding slowly.
“Yeah. I’m not sure I’ll ever sleep again, but I’m okay.”
Smiling empathetically, I took his hand, rubbing it between both of mine as I led him towards the kitchen.
