Hello everyone! Back with more Battle For Legendary Stardom progress! :D. Today we are going to talk about the history of Flower in this AU! In case you haven't seen what this project will be about, you can see it in my recent posts.

Character of the week: 𝑭𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓🌸

The age she will be in this AU is 16 years old, when just hitting her big break with the Announcer's audition.

What was her life like before the reality show? Well, Flower grew up in Las Vegas, raised in beauty pageants since she was 7 years by her family, It wasn't about passion – it was all about image, status, and validation. She became known for her beauty and her controversies with Pencil, since they have been rivals all their lives Memes about their epic beauty pageant fights were everywhere!

Public Image ✨

Apart from being known for her beauty and her controversies, mostly the public knows that she is egocentric, SUPER superficial, and competitive. However, she continues to be popular, talented, and admired despite everything.

Flower believes that being the most beautiful means that everyone should praise her just for existing.

But behind that…

She never had a normal childhood. Forced into the spotlight too early, Flower craves approval from everyone. Deep down, she's terrified of becoming irrelevant, insecure about her looks, and emotionally dependent on fame. She was never truly happy in those pageants – she just wanted a normal life.

(I'm picturing her belting out Britney Spears vibes – think early 2000s energy, confident but dramatic. What do you think? Perfect match? 👀)

Can you imagine that the classic Flower we all know... in this AU, its value as a person depends completely on the approval of others? What do you think? Hello everyone! We're in week 8 documenting Battle For Legendary Stardom AU! 🙂‍↕️ Today we'll be talking about one of the most chaotic contestants: Today we talk about Pen — a contestant struggling between fitting in and being his true self.

Character of the week: 𝑷𝒆𝒏 🎸

In this alternate universe, his age in the AU is — 16 years old!

What was his life like before the reality show?

Pen was born in California to Korean parents. He used to be kind and peaceful, but school stereotypes and comments about his appearance deeply hurt his self-esteem. To fit in, he built a “cool” version of himself: relaxed, rebellious, and carefree.

When he met Eraser, the most popular guy at school, Pen saw a chance to finally belong. He started acting like Eraser — even joining in on cruelly bullying Teardrop for being mute and “weird.” Deep down, Pen knew it was wrong and felt terrible, but the fear of being alone kept him trapped in that role.

In private, Pen is completely different. Since he was little, rock and metal music has been his safe place. He would play “guitar” with frying pans in his room and write songs he never dared to show anyone.

In mid-2009, he saw Announcer’s casting and knew it was his chance to become the rockstar he always dreamed of being. But during the auditions, he ran into Eraser again… forcing him to face the conflict he had been avoiding for years.

Will he keep pretending to be the “cool” guy everyone expects, or will he risk everything to be authentic?

FUN FACT! 📢

Sometimes, Pen feels terribly guilty about having bullied Teardrop with Eraser, and even has nightmares about it. Deep down, he hopes the reality show will give him the chance to stop pretending and apologize to Teardrop someday.

Musical genre: Rock / Punk Rock

I picture him with a mix of Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day) and Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance) vibes — raw emotion, rebellious energy, and honest lyrics about identity and not fitting in. What do you think? Good match for Pen’s internal struggle? 🥹

Can you imagine Pen living 24/7 under cameras while trying to keep up his fake “cool” persona? Especially now that Eraser is back… Will he finally break free, or will the fear of being alone make him keep pretending? ¿Will they make Teardrop's life miserable on the show?

DOCUMENTING MY BFDI AU PROGRESS 🌟 #Part 9

Hello everyone! ✨ We’re on week 9 of documenting Battle For Legendary Stardom! Today we talk about one of the kindest and most adorable contestants: Bubble!

Character of the week: 𝑩𝒖𝒃𝒃𝒍𝒆 🫧

Age in the AU: 15 years old!

What was her life like before the reality show?

Bubble was born in Spain and moved to New York at 11 when her dad got a better job. She’s bilingual (Spanish is her first language, but she speaks English fluently thanks to her dad’s side of the family).

She comes from a loving and patient family that taught her to be empathetic and value the simple things in life. Bubble is incredibly kind, cheerful, and affectionate — she’s always ready to help, listen, and give tight hugs. In school back in Spain, everyone loved her not because she was the prettiest or most popular, but because she made everyone feel welcome.

However, after moving to New York, she started noticing subtle comments and looks about her curvy body. Even though she tries to stay positive and kind to everyone, it hurts a little when she feels excluded or like she doesn’t fully fit in.

When Announcer’s casting became popular in mid-2009, her family and teachers encouraged her a lot. Although she was scared of the cameras and being judged for her appearance, she decided to audition. One big personal reason is she really admires Pencil and Match. She thinks they’re the most beautiful and coolest girls ever and dreams of becoming friends with them and maybe even forming a group together.

FUN FACT! 📢

Bubble gives the warmest (and strongest!) hugs ever. ¡Sometimes she gets so excited that she accidentally squeezes people too hard! She always apologizes right after with her cute voice, but deep down she worries that one day someone will find her “too much”.

Musical genre: Teen Pop / Dance Pop (Soul and Folk.. later)

For now, she's mainly exploring dance-pop because she'll be influenced by Pencil and Match (and competing against Flower). I imagine her with a pop style similar to Mandy Moore. For her natural soul/folk side, I'm still looking for the perfect artist. What do you recommend? 🥹

Can you imagine this pure-hearted and affectionate Bubble in the middle of all the drama, rivalries, and 24/7 cameras? Will she manage to stay true to herself, or will the pressure to fit in and look “perfect” affect her?

Hello again! Here's more news about Battle For Legendary Stardom AU! :D We're in week three. Today we'll be talking about Coiny's story in this alternate universe. If you haven't seen what this project is about yet, you can check out my recent posts.

Character of the week: 𝕮𝖔𝖎𝖓𝖞 🪙(PROTAGONIST)

The age he will be in this AU is 15 years old, when he joins the casting with all his savings, hoping to finally change his life.

What was his life like before the reality show?

Grew up in Arkansas, USA. With irresponsible parents and very little money. From a young age he worked to put food on the table, eating restaurant leftovers many nights. His father kept promising things would get better… but he eventually disappeared, leaving Coiny at 13 to handle everything alone while his mother was neglectful and lazy. He left school at 11 due to money problems and hit his lowest point. His biggest weakness? He’s extremely stubborn and hates asking for help. He believes crying makes him weak, so he bottles up his emotions. even with his loyal online friends: Leafy, Firey and Pin (He met them on Facebook when he was 13, all thanks to a distant cousin who gave him a mid-range phone when he was 9).

Public Image ✨

Publicly he looks tough and independent… but deep down he’s carrying a lot of pain. ¿Perhaps one day he will be able to open up to his feelings? um.. maybe.

Fun fact:

Coiny started rapping as a way to express what he can’t say out loud. He writes lyrics about his real life struggles and feels free when he’s on the mic. Firey (his best friend) always hyped him up during video calls. Oh, and one more thing, in my AU they aren't enemies like in canon, hehe… but who knows, ambition might separate them later on…

🎶 Genre: Rap / Hip-Hop

(I’m picturing him with Kendrick Lamar vibes – Raw, honest storytelling from someone who came from nothing. What do you think? Does it fit?🙌 i think so)

Can you imagine the classic energetic Coiny… hiding so much pain and refusing to show vulnerability? In the mansion with 24/7 cameras, will he finally open up… or will the pressure make him break? Well, that's obvious; maybe the public will be cruel to him. But.. tell me, what support would you give him?

DOCUMENTING MY BFDI AU PROGRESS 🌟 #Part 10

Hi, everyone! We’re already in the tenth week of our series on this AU: Battle For Legendary Stardom! Oh my gosh, I can’t believe we’ve gotten here so fast.. I’m going to cry😭 Well, today we’re talking about one of the four main protagonists (Firey, Coiny, Leafy and Pin) and one of the nicest characters.

Character of the week: 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒇𝒚 🍃(PROTAGONIST)

Age in the AU: 14 years old!

What was her life like before the reality show?

Leafy was born in Burlington, Vermont. Even though her family is wealthy like Firey’s, she lives with very strict and cruel parents who have extremely high standards. They constantly belittle her for being herself — an enthusiastic, cheerful, and genuinely kind girl who doesn’t care about social class or appearances.

Her parents favor her older brother Fern, whom they see as the “perfect example” of the family. They compare her to him constantly, isolate her from her friends (calling them “bad influence”), and make her feel like she’s never enough. Despite all this emotional neglect, Leafy never let it change her kind nature.

The only person who truly supports her and makes her feel seen is Firey. He’s not just her best friend since kindergarten. he’s her emotional support, her safe place, and possibly someone she has deeper feelings for.

When things get really bad at home, Firey is the one who comforts her. They even had to sneak out together to attend Announcer’s audition. Leafy left her favorite pearl bracelet under her brother’s pillow before escaping. She sings to cope with her pain, dreaming of big stages where she can be free and help others who suffer under parental pressure.

FUN FACT! 📢

Although Leafy comes from a wealthy family, deep down she detests luxury and superficial things. She loves helping people in need (especially those who feel “different”), and when her parents aren’t around, she often gives her own money to the maids and spends time with people her parents would call “underprivileged.”

Musical genre: Pop (Emotional / Powerful Pop)

I picture her with a mix of Demi Lovato (powerful voice and emotional depth) and Lorde (introspective and artistic) vibes. What do you think? Perfect match for Leafy’s gentle but strong personality? 💚 I'll probably look into other options, i think

Hello everyone! We’re already on week 6 of documenting this AU: Battle For Legendary Stardom! Today we talk about one of the most intense contestants in the AU: Pencil — the ultimate rival of Flower!

Character of the week: 𝑷𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒍 ✏️

In this alternate universe, her age in the AU is — 16 years old. — Just when her manages to get into Announcer's audition.

What was her life like before the reality show?

Pencil comes from a wealthy family in Los Angeles, deeply involved in beauty pageants and music since she was very young — just like Flower. She was raised in a cruel, classist environment where people without looks, fame, or money were seen as worthless.

She’s controlling, manipulativeand and deeply classist. But behind that fierce diva attitude… Pencil is terrified of being less successful than others, especially her lifelong rival Flower, who always beat her in every beauty contest. This created deep insecurities and made her feel very lonely. The only one who stayed by her side is Match, her loyal (but often mistreated) best friend and sidekick.

In mid-2009, Pencil signed up for Announcer’s casting without hesitation. It wasn’t just for her music career — she saw it as the perfect opportunity to finally overshadow Flower after years of humiliation. She is willing to do whatever it takes, even sabotage her, to be number one.

FUN FACT! 📢

Although she treats Match terribly, deep down she regrets it. However, her pride is too big to apologize.

I picture her with Christina Aguilera vibes from her Dance Pop era — powerful voice, glamorous attitude, and fierce stage presence. ¿Perfect rival energy?

I was also inspired by the real 2000s rivalry between Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera 💄

Can you imagine ambitious and manipulative Pencil living 24/7 under cameras with her biggest rival Flower right there? How far will she go with sabotages? Will Pencil manage to destroy Flower’s chances?

Welcome to another week of this wonderful AU! We're on week five of this brief documentation of this great project.. yeah. Today we're talking about a secondary character who's so clumsy and distracted. Yes, I'm talking about Tennis Ball.

Character of the week: 𝑻𝒆𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒔 𝑩𝒂𝒍𝒍 🎾

In this alternate universe, he will be 16 years old! — he is who likes to experience new things from time to time

What was his life like before the reality show? 🎼

Tennis Ball was born in Florence, Italy (Tuscany) and moved to New York at 13. He’s always lived a simple, peaceful life. He’s never been the best at anything, but he doesn’t mind — for him, things don’t need to be perfect, just enjoyable!

He’s chill, curious, and loves trying new things (he even knows a bit of math, staying true to canon! yeah). His only “flaws”? He’s super distracted, naïve, and extremely clumsy — they call him “slippery hands” because he drops everything and can break two plates a week! (Oh yes, in my AU he will have hands, well in his humanized design.)

He discovered music almost by accident.. literally.

The dynamic with Golf Ball 🙂‍↕️

At 14 he met Golf Ball at a music school in New York. He was surprised by how strict and detail-obsessed she is, but he admires her discipline and talent a lot.

He never planned to join Announcer’s casting… but Golf Ball dragged him in saying it would be “a new experience” to develop his talent. In the end he accepted — mostly because he was happy to be with her.

FUN FACT! 📢

He's so naïve that he doesn't even pick up on obvious hints. Sometimes, Golf Ball drops hints in these situations like:

🎶Musical genre: Soul, Funk, Synth-Pop… and later House.

I picture him with Sam Sparro vibes: smooth, delicate voice full of warmth and calm energy. Sometimes Steve Edwards’ peaceful lyrics also fit him well. What do you think? Good match for our silly boy? 🥹

Can you imagine this super relaxed and clumsy Tennis Ball living 24/7 in the chaotic mansion with cameras everywhere? How many things will he accidentally break… and how long until Golf Ball loses her mind trying to make him “perfect”?

I feel like I started off on the wrong foot with the first documentation… too much text to be honest... I was just very excited! This is a clean reconstruction/summary of what this BFDI AU that was now my BFDI AU, now called "Battle For Legendary Stardom." by me. The timeline in this AU starts from the 2010s.

I will be uploading AU stuff every Saturday ✨

CONCEPT 💡

Welcome to Battle For Legendary Stardom! where fame is not as perfect as it seems.🎤

Would you ever wonder what would happen if... instead of fighting for the Dream Island, all this changed to competing in duels to be the next global legendary superstar? This stardom reality show, in this world is full of ambition, drama, eliminations, public pressure and romance and heartbreak later on…... at first the 20 young people saw it as an opportunity to get ahead... but they didn't know what they would go through to achieve it. Let's remember that before the casting, each character had a common and normal life... or well, some had difficulties.

ENVIRONMENT 🎬

When they were finally chosen in the audition for the fame reality show, everyone will live in a huge music agency and a mansion-hotel owned by Announcer, the eccentric billionaire who created the show. Everything these 20 young people do during their fame process will be filmed 24/7 by Profily, a crazy person who LOVES gossip and has full permission from Announcer to spy on every moment without them noticing.👀📸
