Advice Needed - Nipple Hair
Alright, so this question came in the other day. If you don't want to answer publicly, send me a response with DNP (Do not post) at the top and I will add just your response, not your name, to this post.
I'm a well-endowned lady, and lately I've been wondering what's the "healthy amount" of hair on my breasts (around the nipple). I remember once reading about excessive hair being a symptom of who knows what, and I just want to hear from other BGC readers on what's normal. Thanks!
Does anyone have any experience or medical knowledge regarding this?
Responses are below and in the notes:
Nipple hair... Gosh, I wish there was an Anon option heh! I have that problem, I end up plucking. It's kind of embarrassing, but I don't know of it being a medical problem. I knew another girl who had the same problem. And I was just in the hospital (other reasons) and they did blood and urine tests on me. It was a general screening, of course, they weren't testing for anything in specific, but no health concerns were raised, so idk.
Nipple hair: see a doctor. You will need blood tests for testosterone and oestrogen balance. Hairiness may be a symptom but it isn't always a symptom.
I'm a busty girl and have a fair bit of nipple hair and it's naturally dark, though it isn't like an excessive amount but it's noticeable and I'm really insecure about it. I'm not sure if it's normal but I was so insecure about it that I wouldn't go topless in front of my partners and then I got to the point where I just started using tweezers and it worked so that's a bit of advice for people who are insecure about it ^^,
I have a fair amount, and I tweeze but my mom got electrolysis for hers so there's always that option!
I don’t know the poster’s medical history, so I don’t want to assume… but I know hair can be a symptom of PCOS. If that’s something that may sound likely, perhaps make an appointment with a doctor. I wouldn’t recommend tweezing it, though, as it can get infected and cause an abscess.
