CONCENTRATE ON WHAT I’M SAYING

Is this not an easy enough game to play? Rearrange the shrapnel-shards of your blackened heart, your dirty hands, your broken promises and we just might be able to make a puzzle-picture worth looking at. This bottom rib of yours fits right in the crook of her elbow, slotted next curve of his throat — everything in this city is connected by sinew and bone. Aren’t you glad this is the place you’re lucky enough to call home?

WONDERLAND CENSUS REPORT 2020

The city has seen incredible results this year, with THE HEART’S PALACE once again contributing greatly to Wonderland’s earnings. With their charitable contributions to the City, we are able to see further developments that continue to improve the lives of our dear residents every day. CONCENTRATE, CONCENTRATE

Wonderland does not digest innocence, merely keeps it placed under tongues to steep in the brain matter it has sipped out of its residents. There is a reserve of it somewhere in the pipelines of the city and in the dead hours of the night, you might be able to hear the sound of children laughing as the gas workings of your house powers the place that you haunt - or the place that haunts you. Take your pick. 

Take your pick, and choose wisely. Games are never just games, and now that you’ve settled in, Wonderland would like to play.

Welcome to our second task, dear players! This round’s task is another quick one - we hope you’ve grown comfortable enough with the city to call it a home, even with all its teeth. This time, we will be asking to play a little game with us, which YOU CAN FIND HERE. Please play in-character, and ensure that if you have multiple characters to play the game once for each character! All you must do is follow the instructions, and when it asks for an action to be done, we ask that you do it in-character. Further detail will be given in the game, but should you require any further clarification, you’re always more than welcome to send your questions to the main! IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THE ANSWER, THEN YOU HAVE NOT BEEN PAYING ATTENTION

A knock comes to your door, short and sharp. When you open your door, you are greeted with a shadow - two black wide-brim hats covering faces and jackets razor-cut, long and cloaking any identifiable sort of form. The glint of gold on the top of the left arms boasts a symbol that you know well - government officials. They smile as soon as you realize.

“ʜᴇʟʟᴏ, ᴄɪᴛɪᴢᴇɴ. ᴡᴇ ᴀꜱᴋ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ʏᴏᴜ ꜰɪʟʟ ᴏᴜᴛ ᴡᴏɴᴅᴇʀʟᴀɴᴅ’ꜱ ᴀɴɴᴜᴀʟ ᴄᴇɴꜱᴜꜱ. ᴘʟᴇᴀꜱᴇ ᴅᴏ ꜱᴏ ʙᴇꜰᴏʀᴇ ɪᴛ ɪꜱ ᴛᴏᴏ ʟᴀᴛᴇ. ᴛʜᴀɴᴋ ʏᴏᴜ ꜰᴏʀ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴄᴏᴏᴘᴇʀᴀᴛɪᴏɴ.”

Words are said in unison, not enough space in between the voices for even an echo. They drop an envelope into your hands, and with a curt bow, turn away. You watch as they walk over to your neighbour’s, repeating the same actions, down to the slow smile splitting their lips.
