Dealing with personal struggles

A member on the discord had this to say: "We are part of the falling away and so we grieve for those members that have not yet awoken.  Now we find ourselves particularly isolated from the communities we once cherished and valued.  In every town and locale, this process is going to be different for everyone.  For me, living in a metro area, I have no real friends anymore.  I have very little family that will entertain important topics or existential lines of questioning.  I have climbed too far, too fast in my thirst and have not locked hands with anyone except my wife.  I was once part of a choir for a few years, it was a transformative experience.  To sing ancient songs to the glory of God is a joy not easily forgotten as I imagine you know.  I yearn for the past but know the future is here.  I want to be exalting and magnifying the name of the Lord in a group again, but I feel like the only time I will experience that again is beneath the wings of God.  A man is not defined by his work alone, but in American society it governs every expectation and decision that a man deals with on a daily basis.  I am locked in a struggle, as we all are.  We all have different struggles.  My struggle is to continue to find meaning in my personal life despite the profound abandonment and ill-treatment I have continually received.  I have adjusted my character enough, it is no longer my responsibility to change myself to make the world more palatable. I do not think it's healthy, but what is healthy for the body is not always healthy for the soul."

We all struggle. I struggle myself daily. We can't turn to others around us without returning to our old nature and something like that is unthinkable to us. When I sing and rejoice, I am alone in doing so, but He is with us even then. The way things are now, there is no place here I can call physically "home".

Another member writes: by the way "home" is where ever GOD has placed you at the moment. even if it is in a different world, or timeline, or universe. nothing can be done to you, that God does not permit.

Always remember that even when we are alone and there is no one here for us, He is here with us even to the end of this Age.
