Day 4: Churros in the casco antiguo (old town) of Marbella then a lazy afternoon by the pool. . The concierge @anantaramarbella managed to snag us an early table @bibodanigarcia in the #PuenteRomano . A mojito and a glass of white wine to start then we ordered two appetizers recommended by @marieclairedigby : the rabo de toro brioche and the guacamole and burrata made tableside. The oxtail came stuffed into a mini brioche and the sweetness of the caramelized pulled oxtail and the sweet fluffy brioche worked really well together. The guacamole was made extra creamy because of the burrata and the edamame helped add some texture. It would have been perfect if the chips accompanying it were fresh fried corn tortillas instead of store-bought corn chips. . We had a few more small plates next: langostinos al estilo Robuchon, wrapped in crispy filo and served with a spicy aioli and some oysters: natural, Japanese style and one with roasted chipotle and cucumber. . We shared several main courses: a pizza bianca carbonara, a grilled pluma Iberico with gnocchi and pumpkin purée, plus organic chicken curry with basmati rice. . We shared two desserts: the cheesecake made with salty sheep’s cheese and raspberry coulis, and the Nutella ice cream covered in hazelnut and popcorn. . All in all a fantastic summer dinner al fresco in the always bustling restaurant plaza de Puente Romano. . #TravelswithaGourmet #TWAGMarbella #yum #bibodanigarcia (at BiBo Dani García) https://www.instagram.com/p/CDYwyEjHqir/?igshid=15vq2iji6477b
