@mochineesan so i hear you want genderfluid bernard?
Genderfluid/Bigender Bernard & HCs (cuz i can give it my label too)
(Bern comic clothing language analysis in the comments)
She decides to buy one skirt. Doesnt know how to style it just kinda stuffs it on with whatever. No one can know he has this, he doesn't even know how he feels about wearing it
(They will hv a boy's night tmro)
I don't think that Bern would come out to anyone during high school, not even tim or darla, he would keep that a secret but here is this anyway
(Her parents suck) :(
I think that urban legends era bern, he has pushed that part of him away. They only ever felt safe enough to express it somewhat in the cult of dionysus, where crossdressing and genderplay is a key part of the worship
It has always been a hc of mine, even for cis, cannon bernard, that as he becomes more comfortable and accepting of himself, xe gets her hair buzz cut and stops covering her body with long clothes, becoming more comfortable with himself and his scars.
My dad telling me I look like a queer freak cause I don’t shave thinking that’s an insult to me. Heh that’s what I was going for dingus. I’m too gay for him 😔.
He also made a point that I’ll never get a boyfriend looking like this. Yee wiz maybe I don’t *want* a romantic partner ever think about that? And maybe I don’t tend to have crushes on cis dudes cause most of them are jerks to me and in demiromantic??? Like I only crush on people I’m super close to. Anyway I digress. Men’t.
Today, 3/31, is the International Transgender Day of Visibility.
Trans people have existed and will continue to exist, it’s important that we don’t let anyone silence their voices, especially not now.
Please know that I am proud of you for being alive, living every day on this world even when you are judged for a singular trait you have. One of the most human experiences in the world is going through change, and look at you. You found something about yourself, your identity. You became a better version of yourself because of it, something that makes you feel like you. And you will continue to grow so long as you live and keep going.
To all of my trans and genderqueer friends, I love you so much. Thank you for being here with me. I want nothing more than for you to be happy and achieve your dreams.
Contradictory label culture is headcanoning characters from your favorite medias as being contradictory labels. Like, Rainbow Dash is 100% a butch bigenderfluid gaybian lesboy. Look, I don't make the rules
Genderfluid micro label of the week: Bigenderfluid
Bigenderfluid, also known as bifluid, is a form of genderfluidity and and a subset of bigender. This label has two definitions:
Bigenderfluid is a gender where someone has two genders and both genders are fluid separately from each other. (So for example, one gender might be boyflux and the other might be fluid between all genders.)
Bigenderfluid is a combination of genderfluid and bigender, so it's a gender where someone has two genders and is fluid between exactly those two.
being bigender and gay and someone asks u are u gay for girls or guys and you have to say I Don't Know is the weirdest feeling ever like ummm I'm not straight? that's all i got
After lamenting about it I decided in honor of pride month to make a bigenderfluid pride flag!
The one I've been using relies heavily on getting the shades right and is very hard to recognize unless you get the exact hex codes, so I feel that contributes to it not being very well known or circulated much. It doesn't look bad by any manner, but its hard to use, and i couldn't find any actual meaning for the colors. So here's my version, largely inspired by the flag I've been using.
Loong talk about the symbolism below lol
I wanted the colors to look like a sunset, because i liked that vibe a lot from the previous flag, but it also symbolizes transition to me, like the transition between two binaries (day and night, or male and female), and everything in between that. And, like sunsets, the way every bigenderfluid person experiences those transitions and their fluidity between those identities is different!
I also wanted to use yellow, purple, pink, and blue because of their presence in other flags. Yellow I took from the nonbinary flag and a popular remake of the bigender flag. Pink and blue are from the OG bigender flag and the genderfluid flag.
The purple and blue have double meanings also: I used a darker blue because it reminds me a night sky, and feels like it represents the expansiveness of our experiences rather well to me. Purple I did as an homage to lavender symbolism, but the shades aren't vitally important, just a nice touch I wanted :)
I don't have much special to say about the orange, but it still helps play into the sunset and transitional imagery. It's also directly colorpicked from the orange shade in this bigenderfluid flag:
And you can maybe see what I mean from this image that flags like these would be really hard to replicate with say, a pack of pony beads, or a crayon multipack or something.
My idea was to simplify and add a little more meaning, because the only flags i could find other than what I've been using were mostly edits of bigender flags. I hope I did okay and that maybe someone will resonate with the flag I've made too :3
