I read it nonstop and I have a Canterbury Classics copy. Its unabridged and 1263 pages... I don't think I'd waste time reading an abridged version... that's pointless... I've seen Harry Potter fans read out the series in a week because of their dedication... that anon shouldn't doubt if I read it or not.

To the anon about reading Les Mis in a month. I read it in two days during my Christmas break. I just read and read and read and did absolutely nothing. I was like a Harry Potter fan with the latest book.

This isn't an ask, but my orchestra is doing selections from Les Miserables for our Spring concert. To make it even better, we're combining with the glee club to perform it! I'm so excited for it.
