Starring: Brooke Shields, Robert Downey Jr., Bijou Philips, Ben Stiller, Elijah Wood, Allan Houston, Jared Leto, Mike Tyson
Summary: This movie is a look into the nature of “the hood” of New York City in the 90's. It’s a combination of 3 stories that are connected. One is of a group of black people trying to make it into to rap game. Another story is a couple (Brooke Shields and Robert Downey Jr.) are doing a documentary about these upscale white high school kids who "act black". The final story is about a basketball player who made a deal to throw a match.
Review: 2/10 - Would not recommend. This stories are hard to follow and, because they're connected, they all get bunched up. I couldn't finish it because it got confusing. It ended up being a huge letdown because the story looked really great. Overall, good idea, good group of celebrities, bad approach.
