Made me drool for real ! Like the idea of reader coming into the idea that at first he may have fuckboy energy but when she realized how he feels about her, just spurs her on? Makes her want to do everything he asks her too.
This is reminiscent of something I have in my drafts but yeah, Stebbins has a major jealousy streak and he doesn't even know it. He would never call himself a jealous person, but dear god, he is so fucking jealous.
(This is so random, it's not even a full on blurb, but I figured I would put warnings for slight objectification of women, implications of a threesome, slightly homophobic comments toward Pete and Ray, violence (Stebbins punching Ray because he's jealous) and implications of semi public sex and voyeurism.)
Also, this is not the request that won the poll, this is just me blabbering for fun.
And he is sooo "you can't have your cake and eat it too". He is "I don't want a relationship, don't ask me to be your boyfriend, don't even say that fucking word in front of me" but if you flirt with other guys, if you start getting romantic with other guys, if you talk to other guys - he turns into the biggest bitch in the world.
He will see you at a party across the room talking to another guy and he will crush the poor innocent solo cup in his hands because he's thinking MINE MINE MINE MINE SHE'S MINE. WHAT THE FUCK IS HE DOING. Slimy awful, no good, stupid idiot thinks he can touch my girl-
(And this is probably the first time he thinks of you as "his girl" even in the privacy of his mind - it's a reaction of possession triggered by jealous that makes him want to truly be exclusive with you. Anger and rage making him realize that you're precious - too precious to be let go.)
But he's made it clear that he doesn't want a "real" relationship with you, only sex, so you're not even doing anything wrong.
"Jesus man, what the fuck did that beer ever do to you?" Ray asks from off to the side.
"Shut up, Garraty."
(Ray follows his eyeline.)
"Oh. You're jealous because Pete is flirting with that girl you like. The girl you kicked out of here so fast that she practically had your boot mark on her ass when you were done with her."
"Shut up, Garraty."
"You know Pete is probably gonna cuddle her, kiss her real sweet-"
(Yes, Ray is drunk, and he's intentionally trying to piss off Stebbins at this point.)
"You know a lot about how Pete treats girls in bed, wouldn't you Garraty?"
Ray rolls his eyes. And then he smirks.
"Maybe. But I know Pete likes to share. Especially with me. Maybe I'll go over there and sneak up behind her. I'm sure she'd love the opportunity to be treated nicely by two guys better than you-"
And Ray doesn't see it coming - but he tastes blood and he's dizzy and everyone is yelling, and he realizes a drunk moment later that Stebbins punched him. And Pete is too distracted helping Ray ice his swollen jaw to keep flirting with you. And Stebbins takes you in the downstairs bathroom, and it's loud - he makes sure the people lingering at the party hear you.
"I'm yours, I'm yours, I'm yours, Billy! I'm your girl!"
