I was sorting through photos and dug up this group shot from November at @capsulemusic #Toronto. Always wanted one of them orange #Gretsch solid bodies. Come to think of it, I always wanted one of them little Rickies too! Wait...no...I had one already years ago and sold it. It was a 325V59 mapleglo and I bought it because I live small #guitars so I could pretend to be John Lennon. But the short scale messed with my mind. I put 12s on it and the strings still felt like overcooked spaghetti hanging down, all floppy and loose and whatnot. Also it was my first bigsby and the first time I changed strings I almost threw it out the window in frustration! Luckily @puisheen talked me down off the ledge with with some great tips on how to restring a bigsby without wanting to gouge out your own eyeballs.
