BIMETALLIC LUGS
Bimetallic Lugs, as the name suggests, bimetallic terminals are specifically designed electrical connections used to terminate both copper and aluminium wires safely and efficiently. They are commonly applied in various power distribution systems, where the wires made of different materials must be terminated without any chances of galvanic corrosion.
Welded Type BMT bimetallic lugs comprise high-quality aluminium barrels, copper palms, and an advanced process called friction welding. It produces an incredible molecular bond between copper and aluminium, which has high mechanical strength, minimum electrical resistance, and an extended lifespan.
