Ok the source of this is āI saw a tiktok the other day and did no research myself and also have never worn a binder in my lifeā so take it with just, so many grains of salt, but I saw a tiktok the other day that said that the ābinders with zippers are dangerousā thing started becasue there was one particular manufacfurer that was making them that way, but they were making really shit binders that were fucking people up and so it became common say āavoid binders with zippersā to mean Those Specific binders but now there are other manufacturers that arenāt actually that bad but people still say the no zippers thing anyway.
