Yautja respect justicars in the way that they respect any dangerous and worthy prey, as well as some additional nod towards having a strict code, since that is something that a Hunter would understand. That being said, the specifics of these codes basically make it so that killing each other is the desired result. As Justicars make a point to avoid curiosity over the reasons why someone would do something considered unjust, no amount of detailing of Yautja ritual (or the fact that their prey is limited entirely to people who can fight back) would ever convince a Justicar not to basically kill-on-sight. To be completely fair to them, that is a pretty smart assessment of any situation when facing a Yautja Hunter.

Knowing that Justicars are going to try and kill them immediately makes them one of those 'folks that can fight back', and the result is also Kill-on-Sight for a Hunter to a Justicar.

Basically, Cousin and Samara are put into a situation where they have to follow what are essentially special case rules set up for those codes, so it's a funny-but-completely-torturous conundrum for the both of them.

Two things about that meme. 1. Rose (Evil) is inspired, absolutely inspired. 2. The Feeling section I first thought of as just being an emotion but "Fur in snow" is just... man, that's so expressive! It opens up so many thought processes! Inspiring. Truly inspiring.

Adding to my collection of ‘Characters Facing Slightly One Way’ (I’ve still been busy w/ work, unfortunately, and its killing my wrist among other things)

Top two characters are from a oneshot some of my usual dnd group is doing tomorrow, bottom character is a new character in our normal campaign since an older one has left the party.

Tiefling lady at the top is my Everraven, Grave Domain Cleric of the Raven Queen and local stern mother figure, Seraphi. Goliath dude is @bioticplaneswalker ‘s fighter, Jocaster, a not!Scottish(but totally Scottish) who is traveling the planes hunting monsters due to a dispute with his brother. And finally, Lazuli is @rollknowledgearcana ‘s khenra ranger lady, who has replaced Rask in the party after a horrible corruption/cursed forest ordeal and is gonna be our party’s guide in a future trip into the local desert.

Facts for Cihro!

for anyone not sure who cihro is, he’s my quarian assassin and also my icon lmao, tag here 

cihro has a high pitched kitten sneeze

due to his short height cihro’s been mistaken for a young quarian on his pilgrimage before. he’d probably be able to get away with pretending to be one, too, but his voice betrays his age

falls under ‘functional gay’

he doesn’t think he’s very useful beyond his physical capabilities and kind of sees himself as a tool after enough time working. he doesn’t consider himself very smart outside of his people skills and this makes it difficult later in life when he wants to pursue a new, less dangerous career

dnd!cihro is meant to have a hilariously low constitution, which is my way of transferring the shitty quarian immune system

dnd!cihro also actually isn’t as short as quarian cihro, he’s closer to 5′5″/5′6″

he’s not big on pda but if he’s in a rly good mood he might hold hands/link arms

he likes to keep the Stasmin looking a little beat up on the outside to deter thieves/pirates, but the inside is pretty pristine

I’m pretty sure he’s dropped a piano or something very heavy on someone at some point

he puts the difficulty level on video games on easy because he knows who he is and he likes to have fun

A chandelier matches anything and provides a handy conversation point during at-homes while also being very useful for swinging dramatically on while sword fighting. A must for every home!

Yeah I’m definitely keeping that in mind for the tall chandelier light that will eventually go in the upstairs stairwell if I ever get around to working on the upstairs - GREAT corner for swashbuckling around XD
