Why are subscription services so addictive? As if my handful weren’t enough, I may or may not have ordered a few new ones for next month. Oops.

But Birchbox has a special place in my heart. I’ve found some of my favorites, like Embryolisse Moisture Cream from December, Whish Shaving Cream last month, and the Supergoop City Serum from March.

Beauty Review: Birchbox January 2014

Birchbox is one of my favorite monthly subscription boxes. If you're like me and look forward to the surprise samples in your Sephora online orders, Birchbox is for you. Its $10 a month, and it brings a smile to my face everytime I open it (I never look at spoilers!) and I think it is a lot of fun to try new things.

I know I just posted the December box last week, but apparently my tiny whine about it shipping late was heard + it came right on time!

Cute little inspirational cards were added to this month's box.

Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Day Lotion + $3 off coupon (Birchbox Find) - The scent is a simple floral-herb, and I like the texture of this. Its thick and feels like its really moisturizing. (Full Size $18)

Nail Rock in Sequins - It seems like a lot of people got these kits this month, and I'm glad I did too! This looks fun, but potentially messy. I'm excited to try it anyways though! (Value $4)

Inika Mineral Eyeshadow in Eternal Marine - I kind of hate mineral eye shadows. I'm so lazy, I hate having to open each individual pot to use and would much rather have a palette. I'll be swapping or gifting this little guy. (Full size, $20)

Beauty Protector Protect + Detangle - My hair gets so tangly in the winter, so this is great timing! (Full Size $22) 

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy - I love getting perfume samples, especially ones that I like! I got Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Noir in November's box, and  I've tried this one before. It smells sweet and fruity. It's a fun fragrance, but it doesn't really speak to me, if you know what I mean. (Full Size, 1.7oz $70) 

All in all, a great Birchbox this month! Febraury's Birchbox is curated by US Weekly and the theme is based around the Oscars, so if you're thinking about trying out this box, now's the time!
