I'm actually thinking that Birdfall was formerly a barn cat before falling in love with Vanillatoe and joining SkyClan, hence the barn animal naming theme for her and Vanillatoe's kits!!!! Shame they all died though... not sure how exactly yet though, I'm leaning towards some kind of animal killing them all, but not sure which one
for some reason I get 'killed by weasel' vibes. It's plausible and also I like to imagine something smaller than a fox or badger
