Overthinking about Bisonorus recently

For the last few hours, I've been thinking about the polyamorous doomed yaoi between Mimic and Bisonorus oh dear god.

there are many harmonic critters that have more than 1 gender but only 2 known monster races are known to have 2 genders, those being the Bisonorus and HippityHop, which are both sexually dimorphic with the male being smaller. Coincidentally I also based both of them on some kind of marsupial.

HippityHop females are larger and more terrestrial with their wings being too small for gliding (they’re based on sugar gliders). The males, however, can glide surprisingly long distances if conditions allow.

Bisonorus females (standard) are incredibly territorial and aggressive but will protect their chosen male (emperor) and fight alongside them to protect their territory.
