An app developer friend made a portfolio app for me as an experiment. I don’t quite know what to do with it yet (I don’t even own an iPad ;-)) but there it is!
Did you know that one of our new #BitBots classes, #Bionic BitBots, was inspired by Mark Stilwell's #installation at @OpenSourceGallery in June of 2014? Here's a few facts about that show - 1. The name of Mark Stilwell's installation and #performance was “The Super Defense Force vs The Tittanno Beast (The Power of the Constructonauts)”. 2. “The Super Defense Force vs The Tittanno Beast” is a series created in installments by Stilwell along with a group of like-minded #artists. The series follows the Constructonauts, super-powered robotic builders of the #utopian cities of the #future. 3. The series takes #inspiration from #childhood #nostalgia and the fantasies through which #children examine the real #world. 4. “The Super Defense Force vs The Tittanno Beast” shows the influence of Japanese animation, giant monster movies, and comic books. Bitbots the Animation!

Hey!
Lots of exciting things happening recently, one of which is that the Bitbots Advert is finally finished! I've been working with fellow animator Valentina to get the advert animated and cleaned up (so big thanks to Vale!) and I finally got it into AfterEffects so I could put it together and render out.
Very pleased with the final result. Its looking pretty sweet so I thought I'd upload it and share. I partically like the kirky melody the composer did for it, the music really adds to the animation. For full credits head over to Vimeo to watch this.
