You didn’t bother to be quiet when you came in, you know Dave was awake. You carried your bags to your room, and because you hate clutter, unpacked immediately.
You changed into pajama pants and a sweatshirt, keeping the pocket watch on underneath.
Having slept on the plane, you decided to make a fresh cup of coffee and made yourself a piece of toast, you didn’t really want much else. You turned on a movie and curled up on the couch, coffee cup in hand.
You heard Dave pad into the room a few minutes later, and smiled when he ruffled up your hair. “Hey Davey.” You tilted your head back to look at him pouring his coffee. “You were in your office, so I didn’t want to disturb you.” You tapped your fingers against the side of the mug, smiling down at it.
