What's up with the patterns ChocolateTsang sells on Etsy? I really want something like the fantasy kimono pattern, but I've also been in the hobby long enough to know that photo is of a custom piece Elinox sold like ten years ago. Where are these patterns really coming from and where can I go to buy the original patterns from the actual designers? Anybody have a clue? People like this really frustrate me...

Has anyone here ever bought a pattern from Taobao and if so, what was your experience with it? My Withdoll (41cm) isn’t arriving until the end of June/start of July so I want to start sewing her some clothes and Taobao seems to have a lot of gorgeous patterns.
