Welcome to the ultimate battle... the

BLACK AND YELLOW BRACKET!

Inspired by blogs like @blueandorangebracket, @purpleandyellowshowdown, @purplegreenbracket, and more! I wanted to make a character bracket around black and yellow themed characters, cuz I think there's lots of fun potential there :3 I haven't seen someone do this particular combination yet, but if it's already been done I'm sorry hdjshf

Here's some rules!

STAY SILLY! This is not serious pwease don't be mean to each other. If I see one side bullying another, I will end the vote early, block offending parties, and restart that poll!

You can submit as many characters as you'd like, but please don't submit them more than once! The more votes a character has, the more likely it is that they'll end up in the bracket.

Keep it to fictional characters please! However, the characters can be human, creature, or anything else as long as they fit the theme!

Propaganda is ENCOURAGED, but cheating is not! You can vote on multiple blogs if you have them, I can't really stop you, but please don't use bots as it's unfair to everyone fighting honorably!

It's a casual bracket! Different shades are allowed, but Green and Orange will NOT count as yellow. Characters are allowed to have other colors besides yellow and black on them, however, as deciding otherwise would severely limit the bracket! Likewise, if a character has black and yellow vibes without having an explicitly black and yellow theme, that is allowed!

Examples of characters that fit the theme: A duo you like that has black and blonde hair respectively, characters with black and yellow clothing / themes, characters that fit the black and yellow vibe, etc!

Other things to note:

Submissions will be open until March 5th, with some caveats: If not enough characters are submitted by the 5th for a full bracket, then submissions will remain open until the 8th! If submissions fill up very quickly, I may opt to close the bracket as early as the 3rd.

The bracket will probably be between 16-32 slots, depending!

I will be posting a few polls soon to decide some other things about the bracket, so stay tuned!

I'll reblog this with a link to the submission form, HOWEVER it is also acceptable to submit characters via askbox in case you don't want to deal with google forms! Anon will be off for the submission period to ensure that no individual submits the same character(s) more than once.

Y'all. Whoever Janus is, they now legitimately take up, like, half of all of the submissions I've gotten xD

But! They seem to the the personification of a real person's (Thomas Sanders) emotions. Does that really count as a fictional character? And should I include them, given that they're that closely tied to a real person?

We've gotten lots of submissions, and I now have plenty of characters to fill out a bracket of 32, so I've decided: I will close submissions at midnight tonight! That is to say, in about 12 hours.

Because of this, I've elected to turn anon on so that you guys can add submissions without worrying or being shy. But please don't submit the same guy over and over again, I'll know.
