Challenge 112: Fresh Start: Persephone Rising
New beginnings just as with any New Years is a time of refresh, of shedding old habits, and letting go that which no longer serves you in order for you to grow. I wanted to portray a new moon as well as the goddess Persephone letting go of this toxic heavy blanket that some tend to hide away under because it’s comfortable and familiar even though there is no room for growth, but what is left of that blanket of comfort is nothing to grow from. As soon as she unveils herself from this heavy weight of her past, she starts to blossom into a newer and brighter light.
