SISTER DEAREST
She’s already bolted out and up, throwing her sister hard against cement brick, arm twisted behind as the elder tightened her powerful grip around her sibling’s wrist.
“And you just had to come crawling back to “rescue” me, didn’t you?” She throws her head back in a laugh, her free hand grabbing a handful of crimson tresses whilst forcing a tug. “Starfire. How stupid are you, truly?” As she steps away, the grip held onto Starfire’s wrist would be used as leverage to toss the redhead clear across the room with Blackfire bolting after.
“You know how much I hate uninvited guests, sister dear.~”
Starfire shrieked as Blackfire threw her around as effortlessly as one might a doll, the whole world spinning out of her control in dizzying spikes of pain. She felt her body soar---
Why had she ever hoped for anything different?
Panicked, Starfire only just manages to catch herself, willing her emotion to shoot her upward. She flies sharply away from her sister and spins. She would not allow Blackfire the advantage of coming from behind.
“I could not leave you to die, sister!” Starbolts sling from each hand and suddenly she’s turning, screaming, careening toward Blackfire at top speed. They collide and Starfire slams her into the ground. Muscles strain.
“No matter how horrible you are, how-- ughh! --cruel! You are still - my - sister!”
