Were her eyes deceiving her? Was Tiffany really laying eyes upon….. Colby?! Perhaps the happy tears that were still filling her eyes, and streaming down her face, were making her see things, because he wasn’t supposed to be there. In fact, she’d literally just pulled her phone out to FaceTime him after her big win, but he was there? In person, in the flesh, right where she could see him??! “Oh my god, Colby!!!” Was yelled out as Tiffany ran across the backstage area, as fast as her legs could take her, jumping right into her boyfriend’s arms, once the distance between them was bridged. “Oh my god, babe! You’re here!! How did you know it was happening tonight?!”

“T-Thanks babe.” She shivered one last time before gratefully accepting his jacket, putting it on in a haste and soon feeling a bit warm. The family was staying in Colby’s hometown for a few days and for Thanksgiving to visit his side of the family and well, Nattie underestimated the weather beforehand. “Woo! This Iowa weather is no joke. Reminds me too much of home.” She joked.

Cheree had her phone on speaker as the trainer told her what she feared but already had a gut feeling about… her right knee was injured yet again and required surgery, meaning that she will be out of action for another period of time. A tear fell from her eye from hearing the news, thank goodness it wasn’t a video call. After hanging up she broke down instantly, sobbing. She stopped when a knock hit her door. Dammit, she had forgotten that she invited Colby over to get him the souvenir from Japan. “Shit.” Drying her eyes, the woman quickly needed to compose herself and answer the door. “H-h-hey… come on in.”

They say time heals all wounds. While Nattie wasn’t the firmest believer in that statement time turned out to be the only remedy in bringing her and Colby back together. They had more marriage counseling sessions, they were more amicable around Lillie, learned how to communicate better again. Despite all that, however, it didn’t change the fact he will eventually have a child with a woman that wasn’t with his wife. Every day since the bombshell was dropped he vowed to make things right for the sake of not only their daughter but Nattie as well and not once had he walked away or gave up on her.

It was hours before a R.aw live show, the two of them walking into the arena with Lillie in the middle holding one of their hands. Today was the first time their daughter would be backstage for the very first time so Nattie was excited in watching Lillie soak everything in: the atmosphere, seeing other wrestlers as well as see her parents wrestle in person. Colby was the champion so it was a given he’d be there. Nattie on the other hand, was told she would have a match later tonight so she was more motivated to be there than usual. “Are you happy to see Mommy and Daddy wrestle tonight?” she asked Lillie. “Yeah! I can’t wait!”
