BSAM LA 2017
The Black Speculative Arts Movement Los Angeles was magical. I had a wonderful time. The drive down was fun and super HOT. We stopped along the way for snacks and water and joked the whole ride. The event was nothing like I’ve ever experienced with the drummers and ceremonial dancers and all the love from other vendors and community members. So awe inspiring and sweet to see Black and Brown folks supporting each other and buying and selling creative products. From food to handmade jewelery,juices,hair care products,art and zines and comics. All the panels and speakers. Just awesome.Big shout out to Leimert Park for hosting the event and Maia Crown Williams and Reynaldo Anderson for organizing. Thank you and can’t wait for next year!
