So Frank Miller has had some wishy washy politics and is known for creating problematic women characters, yet somehow he created probably one of the best heroines in comics, Martha Washington from "Give me Liberty". Martha grew in in a futuristic cabrini green projects, was a gifted hacker, became a solider, overturned a corrupt government, turned on allies that became currupt, saved the rainforest, went in space and thats only a tiny chunk of Martha's adventures. Martha is extremely underrated and should be known for the badass that she is. I read Give me liberty around the same time i discovered Tank girl.
