Sinbad stares at the flimsy toy in his hand. He couldn’t quite remember how he ended up here in the pet store of all places. One minute he was complimenting a lady’s exotic-looking cat, the next he’s being offered cases upon cases of pet toys. Might as well see if they work.

“Back in Remnant, I worked under some pretty impressive people. They kept me around as a lacky, and the muscle. No one took me seriously. Would you take me seriously? I’m four feet eleven inches when I have my shoes on, and half my hair is pink. The only physically intimidating thing about me is being able to change my eye color on a whim. It serves absolutely no purpose when it comes to actually fighting, but it’s pretty cool and scares people away.

But I digress. The most malicious act tied to my name? Once, Roman and I were at a White Fang rally, and there was this cat faunus that really just...didn’t get along well with me. She was cute, but she wasn’t having it. So I may have slipped with a switchblade and chopped her tail off and gave it to her as a gift.”
