What a beautiful friendship.
It's been a minute since Rich and Mike talked a little Trek. Today is the day that happens again. Reports are the new season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds has nabbed a total of 14,000 viewers per episode and that's some promising news! Starfleet Academy will be back for its' second and last season soon (Projected to receive negative views) and after that... not much Trek will happen. I think Alex Kurtzman Trek is DOA after Starfleet Academy. The new news on the block is that the two guys that made Game Night are writing a new Star Trek movie set in the way way future with zero legacy characters. Could be good? Could be promising? Probably be bad? No idea. But Mike wanted to tell Rich Evans about this and maybe speculate on where a new Trek series could go? What could it be about? Can the franchise be saved? Might bought a handful of actual costumes used on the clown show Star Trek Discovery and him and Rich put on two Klingon costumes to talk trek because they are both too fat to fit into the Starfleet jumpsuits they have. When talkin' Trek, why not do it with a little style!?
