A little history of #bladeandbroom, for those who are curious. The shop just sprung up on IG, but I've been in business since 2008 -- and *actively* in magical trade since 2011. I've been a practicing #witch since 1997, and I'm a co-founder of the #americanfolkloricwitchcraft tradition, which is the primary magical influence behind the shop. The shop was started and has always been primarily run by me ( @laureleiblack ) though Natalie, my ex wife was also heavily involved from 2012 to 2014, designing almost all of the original product labels, the first novenas, the shop's logos, and putting together the first of our #bospages. I had taken over design duties, adding to the shop's impressive #bos library, adding new candles, and contuining the work we have been known for. What are we best known for? Our #bookofshadows pages are our best selling items, to date (we have over 500 now), but we also have a reputation for high quality #ritualrobes and #conjureoils as well as #flyingointment. Less widely known are the #spiritconjure and #magicallifecoaching services we offer. (They might be less known to the public, but they are no less potent. We only take on a handful of these clients at any given time. ) Locally, I also have a reputation as an accurate and insightful #psychicreader. Why do I say "we" so much when talking about the shop? I work with spirits who are ever present. It feels both egotistical and inaccurate to say me and I, when they guide the work. #spirittribe #spiritworker #spiritguides (at Blade and Broom Botanica)
