First comms of the season, and what better way than with @doxiedreg stinky hot man and @blaigoo sleazy sexy used-cars salesman? Thank you for letting me draw this sore losers duo💖💖💖
Friend beamed me with a bunch of questions on discord so strap in for the ride. Also going to put it under readmore because this is going to be a long post
On an average day, what can be found in your character’s pockets?
Thorn: some pocket shinies he can fidget with to pass time or if he is nervous, his phone, his (car)keys (with some keyrings crafted by stained, beck and grin), his wallet, a case holding his reading glasses and some dogtreats for snowdevil to give him on his walkies
Rechor: dad's butterfly knife, cigarette tin, drinking flask filled with wine, lighter, some loose cash (no wallet), small makeup case (to make his scales shine and touch up his eyeliner. this includes a small mirror), small notebook (to write information in about his targets as well as just general notes such as grocery list), phone, his keys, small baggies of drugs (coke, weed, exstacy etc.), small smoke bombs, lock pick
Edward: emergency teabags, thermoflask, hair comb, small mirror, pocket watch, brass knuckles, phone (only because he needs it to communicate with thorn and the others, he much rather have a flip phone or nokia or something), his keys, his wallet, wallets and other things he has stolen from other rich folk's pockets while walking past them
Does your character remember names or faces easier?
Thorn: Faces. He needs to be able to remember faces in the case that he needs to keep an eye on them even if he doesnt know their name.
Edward: Names. He knows the regulars of his bar by name :)
Rechor: Faces. He doesn't remember the names of the many people he killed but he does remember their faces as that's the most important information when given jobs. Don't want to kill the wrong person afterall.
26.How does your character behave around children?
Thorn: Friendly and warm. Will be encouraging to them and answer their questions with no annoyance. If they are his own or his friends' kids he will allow them to climb on him and happily play with them and hold them.
Edward: Loves kids! Will be very enthousiastic and playful around them, as they remind him of when he was growing up with younger siblings. Will happily babysit for a friend.
Rechor: He will not harm them or anything but he is generally not very interested in them. With kids he doesn't know, he tends to try to ignore them or he only gives short answers and tells them to get lost. Thorn's kids however he does give more care to. He especially likes spending time with beck and grin, talking with them and encouraging them. Stained however he thinks is a lil piece of shit so he is only civil with him and shows no signs of affection towards him.
40. How does your character treat people in service jobs?
Thorn: Kind and understanding, though he does get a little annoyed with them sometimes when they are obviously terrified of him. He is just trying to do his grocery shopping, stop staring at him please. He will always leave large tips too uwu And if someone is harassing a service worker in his presence he will loudly clear his throat and give the harasser a deathglare before politely asking them to please stop yelling at the employee as they are just doing their job while ominously looming over the harasser. This will most often result in them apologising to the employee and timidly going back to their business. In the case of creeps he will be slightly more aggressive but still passive, he doesnt want to make a scene, he just will ramp up his scaryness to make sure the creep fucks off. If the employee is upset/crying, he will stay with them and comfort them and talk to their boss about what happened if necessary. Also he might get the creeps disposed of later if it's not too much trouble.
Edward: Polite and understanding. Never yells at a service worker and always is polite when something is wrong with his order. He does get frustrated sometimes, but he knows the employees are trying their best and also he aught to be a gentleman. Will glare at people if they are harassing employees and try to find a manager or store owner to help. He isn't the aggresively confrontational type for people outside Rechor. Also leaves a big tip and comforts upset employees.
Rechor: Treats them with basic human respect. Nothing more and nothing less. Leaves an acceptable tip, stays out of their business. Might try to flirt a bit with pretty and handsome employees but if they reject him he will shrug and move on. Rechor might yell at them though if he is drunk and they refuse to serve him more alcohol
What does your character believe will happen to them after they die? Does this belief scare them?
Thorn: Uh..well he hopes he doesn't die any time soon. He has been alive for thousands of years and hopes to live for thousands more. He is programmed to not believe/be interested in deities so he probably doesnt really believe in an afterlife either. Really he just tries to not think about dying, it will not happen to him probably hopefully.
Edward: He feels like he will be going to hell for the slaughtering he did that one night in his beast form. Even if it's the only time he killed people and it wasn't really under his control, he feels like he deserves to burn for it. He fears dying..he is desperately trying to do good to others to balance out the evil of that night.
Rechor: He figures that if the afterlife exists he would go to hell but really he doesnt care about it. He is already suffering, how much worse can hell get? Besides he doesnt really believe in the afterlife. He just thinks there will be nothingness. And he doesn't really fear going there. Live life to the fullest, you only live once and all that crap.
