A) Why are you excited about this character?
I think it’s because I’m so attached to her. Why am I so attached to her? She is probably one of my most developed fan-characters personality wise, as well as unique to me. I just simply enjoy writing her, and her growth as a character, and I enjoy drawing her just as much. She just feels familiar and personal to me, and that’s why I’m excited about her.
B) What inspired you to create them?
I am not really sure what inspired me to make her the way I did?She started out as most of my RPG characters do, bland. I don’t even really know how long I’ve had her, three years maybe? She’s just sort of being cobbled together over time, I guess, from me just picking bits and pieces of things I’ve seen or like and putting them together. I’ve probably drawn from other media I like, and how I feel she’d interact with my other characters, too.
I) Do you prefer to keep them in their canon universe?
No, not at all! One of the things that I’m very happy about is that she’s sort of- evolved from filling a very specific niche in one RPG to being able to branch out to whatever else I’m interested in. (It probably helps that I’m attracted to a lot of high fantasy stuff, so it’s easier to draw parallels.) I’m also really big on her interacting with my other OCs. I never planned for her to be such a versatile character for me, which is why I’m so amazed by how things turned out in the end.
