Noah and Gemma’s Younger/Twin Brother
Background:
More important background information on their family can be found in Noah & Gemma’s bios - but essential information to note is that their father served in the military, they were raised in a very loving and supportive family, but both their parents died when they were young (their father first due to a heart attack, and their mother following shortly after due to falling into depression & alcohol consumption.) Noah took the twins in and raised them in Las Vegas after their mother died, and Gemma eventually followed in her mother’s footsteps and turned to alcohol to cope with her grief — enough so that both of the brothers had to intervene and help her get clean.
He would, by definition, be the happiest of all three of them. Perhaps choosing to live his life more freely, with the thought that he lives in the present and not in the future or the past? Perhaps a bit of a goofball, joking around to simply make people around him smile. Maybe a bit of a troublemaker and adventurer, but in a very lovable *you can’t hate him for it because he makes you laugh until you can’t stop* kind of way. But those are just general ideas, his personality and background are completely up to you to figure out!
His relationship with Noah: As children, it would have been the same as with Noah and Gemma. Noah was still distant towards the twins and living his own life back then. When their father died, the brother could have been the one who updated Noah on what was going on with their mother. He would’ve helped him shave for the first time, and given him the advice their father had given Noah at his turn, and perhaps that helped their relationship significantly. When the brothers helped their sister to take care of her demons and help get her help to do it, I imagine they definitely would have bonded a lot more, them being all they had until Gemma would return home.
His relationship with Gemma: I see them as being super close, almost extensions of each other. Especially while they were younger, I think they would have done most things together and been each other’s best friend; complete with bad inside jokes, secret handshakes, and embarrassing stories. I’m totally open to how he reacted to their parent’s deaths, but Gemma definitely withdrew — especially after their mother passed away. She attributed it to growing up and needing space when really it was just her trying to cope and failing at it. However he dealt with things, he’d still have been the first to notice that her reliance on alcohol was bordering on addiction and that she needed help, and probably was the one to really get through to her when she was at her worst. Despite with all their struggles, I see their bond as never having broken even with everything they’ve been through and Gemma being able to be her truest self when around him.
