❝ i’m bored. wouldn’t be so bored if you’d let us play the radio. i have killer taste in music, you know. ❞ she rested her cheek on her left shoulder and watched their headlights eat away at the asphalt. there was little traffic at this hour and they’d been counting on this. as she swept her gaze from side to side, the silhouettes of the passing buildings loomed and blurred like ancient monsters on the run. charlotte sighed and laid her head on her other shoulder, slanting her gaze ‘pon sylvester’s profile. he wore irritation well - or perhaps, that was simply how the void - vessel preferred to see others : irritated, confused, and worried. their minds and moods caught up in sticky webs of difficult thoughts and heavy emotions. these were her masterpieces.
