The first Young Lions Cup match for next Saturday has been revealed! Joining the previously announced Boomer Hatfield, Jaden Való, and Blanche Babish is Jay Sorbet from Australia! Sorbet makes his United States debut on Young Lions Cup weekend, looking to do what his fellow countrymen almost did with King of Trios and what Ricky South also hopes to do in this year’s tournament - bring the title and prestige back home.

Blanche Babish debuted at last year’s CHIKARA debut, becoming an instant fan favorite in the process. She made it to the semi-finals where she lost to eventual tournament winner Cameron Zagami, but one year later, she’s back in the Young Lions Cup tournament looking to win the whole thing!

B.M.D. left Lucas Calhoun and Jeremy Leary high and dry after taking a severe beating at the hands of The Proteus Wheel in July. Since the beginning of the Season, Lucas Calhoun and Jeremy Leary’s mission became to rid CHIKARA of the Proteus Wheel. Being the 77th and 78th versions of Professor Nicodemus’ Volgar quotient, they knew the evil he and his creatures wrought. It became abundant to Calhoun and Leary that if they stood a chance to rid of them, they needed a third partner to even the odds. They found a partner in BMD, the 79th iteration of the Volgar Quotient, but after taking a significant beating in July from the Proteus Wheel, felt he had no choice to but to abandon Calhoun and Leary. However, King of Trios weekend saw Babish team with Leary and Calhoun in 10 person tag action where her Soda Jerk submission won the match for her team, and with Leary in the Tag Team Gauntlet, they were able to eliminate The Proteus Wheel from the match! Babish may be the missing ingredient Calhoun and Leary have been working for. We’ll see on October 13th, as the three of them take on the Proteus Wheel in full force!
