So, I don't think I've properly introduced this blanket yet. I've talked about it in videos, including the process for picking a stitch pattern, but I haven't just posted about it here. Guess I'll do that now! This will be the fourth adult-sized blanket I've ever made. After I finished the third one, I requested to be smothered with it if I ever decided to make another blanket again. Then my cats decided that the best place to throw up was on the 100% acrylic blanket I slept under every night, requiring me to wash it way more often than I'm comfortable washing anything acrylic. I decided that, if I'm going to have to wash my blanket over and over and over again anyway, it might as well be made of a material that doesn't leech microplastics with every wash. Nobody listened to my request to be smothered if I ever decided to make another blanket, so now, I'm in the interminable middle of a queen-size blanket (stripe five of eleven!), wondering if I'll ever make it to the end. At least the yarn is worsted weight and the hook is a few sizes too big! . . . . . . #buttercupyarnart #crochet #crochetblanket #blanketcrochet #handmade #handmadeblanket #yarn #yarnart #fiberart #fibreart #blanket #wip #crochetwip #crafting #diy https://www.instagram.com/p/Cc6mslRrF2v/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
